Class I Protection: According to the relevant regulations of IEC and GB50057-2010, it is required to install class B SPD on the interface between LPZ0 and LPZ1, that is, SPD is installed on the main distribution cabinet of the building where the server room is located. The surge voltage generated in the line is limited to about 2.5KV. Ensure the safety of distribution equipment between Class I and Class II SPD.

Class II protection: Class II lightning and over-voltage protector is installed on the interface of the LPZ1~LPZ2 area. Therefore, a set of surge protectors are connected in parallel to the input switch of power distribution box in server room to absorb low-energy lightning current and surge over-voltage to protect the equipment (two sets are available if the server room is dual-powered). Limit the instantaneous surge voltage in the line below 2.0KV. It’s connected separately in parallel to the phase line and ground line & the neutral line and ground line of the input terminal of power supply screen.
Model: TPS C40
Class III protection: One set Class III SPD is installed in the front-end device to absorb low-energy lightning current and surge over-voltage. As the terminal protection, the over voltage is limited below 1.0KV. To ensure the safe operation of all terminals struck by lightning, and considering the mobility of terminal device, we can select lightning protection socket particular for cabinet.
