Lightning disasters are one of the most serious natural disasters in our province. Every year, lightning accidents cause frequent casualties, property losses, fires and explosions, and economic losses are enormous. In order to further improve the work of lightning protection and disaster reduction, safeguard the safety of people's lives and property, promote economic and social development, and create a peaceful and harmonious environment for the construction of Hainan International Tourism Island, in accordance with the “Meteorological Law of the People's Republic of China” and the “Regulations of Hainan Province implementing Meteorological Law of the People's Republic of China” and “the Measures for the Protection of Lightning and Disaster Mitigation”.
